Darren Horst and Kyle Southall started Legacy Painting Group after years in corporate leadership roles with companies like Rubbermaid, CSX, Central Garden & Pet and a large industrial and commercial painting company in Jacksonville where Kyle was CFO and Darren was in charge of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development. 

They experienced how the painting industry lacked a level of professionalism and integrity present in other industries they had roles in, and they wanted to change that. So, they created a business model centered around the following key principles:
